Burnishers-
Made with high carbon tool steel & have a high polished smooth finish. They are used for flattening burrs and polishing the plate surface. Also used for image making or corrections. Available in a number of different sizes and styles ranging from wood handled single end burnishers to solid steel combination burnisher & scraper/scribe.

Scrapers-
Made with high carbon tool steel & have a triangular shape with three very sharp edges. They are used to slice off or scrape away the plate surface. Also used for image making and corrections. Available in a number of different sizes and styles ranging from wood handled single end scrapers to solid steel combination scraper & burnisher.
